overheating

i have a bx2230 with 400 hrs this spring i noticed thatthe temp gauge
was in the middle, which it never has done . so i changed the water in
the radiater and flushed it . but the temp needle is still up to better than half way. not in the red. should i change the thermastat are just keep an eye on it ?
