Car Doc - Yes, I remember seeing Stan's name on one of the sites listed as, "Stan Hoye" -- I am still curious about the phone number relationship to Stan and G&S -- All of these things are tied together somehow. Stan might have an interest in G&S?

He maybe the "S" ? (just guessing)

I wanted to add that they seemed real decent to deal with. I live in Kansas and he would have brought the tiller to me with a pickup for little to nothing charge, they come up this way from time to time he said. All I had to do was say ok Id take it and pay w/cc. I bought a new KK2 instead fwtw.

Please note: Compact-Tractors.com (the website) has recently been purchased by Stan's Tractors . The original owners, G&S Tractors went out of business and no longer sell tractors. Stan is a long time Yanmar tractor importer and carries only the top of the line Yanmar tractors. We are currently working to update all of his information and upload his own pictures and information but it is very time consuming. All of that may be true but im still saying that website has looked just like that for 1 year. I was curious when in the list of tractors for sale is his "dads" 1610 or whatever with a pic to the tractor that Hoye uses on his site (the same picture with "dad" on it).

I can t do it but i dont really care that much about that stuff, but if i did im sure i could do it. My point is there are some young kids that are a genious in that and they can bang it out in no time, as well as i know there are a bunch of tractor guys on here that could do it and prolly would gladly swap out work for Implements or parts.

Bottom line time -- Going to check out the tractor in the morning... if it is mechanically sound I will be hauling it home... it's a "tool", nothing more.
