Oxford Rototiler TM150 does it fit my tractor?

I have and MF1528
HP motor:28.4
PTO motor:22.3
My front loader bucket is 60"

My dealer is telling me that the TM150 would work with my tractor. I told him I wanted a tiller that would fit my tractor and if I upgrade to a biger tractor one day it would probably be a 35 or 40 hp and that it would be great if the tiller would fit that future tractor.
The TIM150 is 59" and I liked the idea that it match the size of my loader.

I plan on using the tiller for tilling my Deer crop field( clover,Brasica and stuff that deer like to eat) I'll probably used it as well for my personal garden that is around 40feet X40 feet, Small garden for the tractor size.

What do you guys think? will that tiller be to big for my MF1528? I have sent and e-mail to Oxford to asked there opinion as well.

If the Oxford roto-tiller has a Category I Three Point Hitch and weighs less than 2,000 pounds it should work fine with your MF1528 and a heavier, more powerful tractor as well.

Your successor 35-40 horsepower tractor may have a wheel width of
66" to 72" and a bucket width of 72".

Sorry - I don't either. However - the TM 150 is rated for 35 to 40 hp. Your MF 1528 comes up a little short. It will do the job but you might have to make multiple passes.

I found a guys who has a MF1526 and he is running a 55" tiler. not sure what HP power it's rated for. He told me that his tractor could probably take a bigger tiller. He normaly do 2 pass the first time he create a garden. First passe then wait 1 week and do it aigain to let evrything die. he does not use round up. He also told me that the year after he only need to do one passe.

I think you will be making the right choice - buying this tiller. Like you say - it will also work if you decide on a larger tractor.

A suggestion - BEFORE you use the tiller. Either burn off the weeds or mow them down with your lawn mower. They will wind up on your tiller - tighter than a tick. I know from experience. It took the better part of half an hour to cut them off with a sharp utility knife. And I had to do it three times.

Thanks for the Tip. IN the past I used round up before disking with and pull behind ATV disc. The issue is that it's hard on ATV and Round up cost is expensive now days plus it's a chamical that I'd prefer avoid if I can.
