- Deere 4044R cab, Kubota KX-121-3S
I've had five Kubotas and two years ago switched to Deere because I wanted a cab for our harsh Vermont winters and the layout of the 4044R was much better than the equivalent Kubota.
Within a month the paint started peeling off the bucket in 4-6" long strips even though at that point the only thing the bucket had been used for was hauling firewood. By the end of the year the tractor was covered with small patches of rust where the paint had curled up like long potato chips. The tractor is stored in a carport out of the elements. We do not use salt in the winter months. Other than the bucket the sections that are peeling are not subject to wear or impact.
Anyone else had this issue?
