painting a old plow?

Would acrilic rustolem stick to a disc harrow ? that been pressured washed & degreased.From what i see most people paint the whole disc and blades just one color

That should work fine for clean metal.

They have tougher finishes for things that are going to be outside.

how would satan pain work ?. also spray paint wood be easy to touch up.the only part that would get real wear would be the disc blades the frame itself would be s cleaned regulary. ill keep lookin

That's because most people are too lazy to either mask things off or take them apart. Rustoleum with hardener works good and you can still use the spray cans to touch up if you want, but they are an implement and implements get scratched up. And forget about keeping the disks painted, just a waste of time.

I use it all of the time. I perfer oil based version vs water base for heavy outdoor use.

We use Oil base TSC paint on all implements, except tractors. I think the current price here is about $28 per gallon. I wouldn't worry about the blades either. just wears right off. Ken Sweet
