I been wanting a set of pallet forks for my 3510 to go with the BL 10 loader. Local dealer quoted $750.00. Does that sound about right? I was thinking they were around $500.00 last year but things do go up.

I have the Pallet forks for my 3820i for about 3 years. Can't remember what I paid, but my dealer was giving me cost + 10% + shipping on the implements I purchased at the time of sale and said the deal extended into the future 'some' amount of time. Why not try asking your dealer that since he has already got you for a big chunk of dough, why not deal on the pallett forks, offer to pay cash when you pick them up. He'll just be a middle man in the deal, and you'll be sure to give him a recommendation to your other potential tractor buying friends.

BTW, I purchased a pallet of maybe 60 retaining wall blocks at around 50 lbs each. No Way could I lift it off my pickup. The most I could handle was about 25 blocks. It has been very usefull as a man lift several times.

Do a search for forks. There's tons of posts regarding different manufacturers and do it yourselfers.

FYI. Let the buyer Beware...I ordered a set of forks for mine at 650. Come to find out that they were a privately made VERSION of unit's that I was looking at, even at the same rating 2000#'s. When I went to the company (not my dealer) and loaded them up, they seemed light weight. After further inspection, it appeared they were warped, and repaired. Needless to say I did not purchase them. Fork attachments carry allot of liability with them, so watch what you buy.

After I bought my SS, I found a set of 42" forks with a hole torched in the end of one fork and I passed them up for $600..

I gave $450 for the used set of HD forks I got with my tractor as part of the "deal". I did some checking and around here used & beat to death forks were running $500+ and new ones $750-900 -- 2 years ago.

When they delivered my tractor last Saturday - I asked about the cost of a set of QT Forks, and they told me about 750 bucks... I have the BL10-S Loader. I'm not sure if it makes a difference price-wise whether it's a pin-type, or Skid Steer-type QT.

I just paid $750.00 cdn for a set of Horst Welding 3700 lb heavy duty forks with SS QA plate. 48 in. Didn't pay any tax because they were ordered at the same time as the tractor which was tax exempt (over 60 pto hp). Deciding to buy implements at a later date would mean I would've had to pay tax on them.
