I have a new 4035 with 27 hours on it. I decided to buy pallet forks from my dealer. Mahindra brand figuring no issues but I cant lock them in because the mounting plate seems a little short so my quick attach dont mount flush to lock the pins in properly. I took the plate back and exchanged it but still have the same problem. They suggested cutting pin hole bigger so the pins slide down but it would not mount flush. Any ideas?

The carrier or the fork receiver are not standard dimension. You want the carrier right for sure. Then all correctly dimensioned implements will fit.

Since you bought the tractor and forks from your dealer (Mahindra brand) they should contact Mahindra to find out what the problem is rather than modify the pin holes. Can the dealer try the forks on another QA plate on a different tractor to see if they lock in correctly? Maybe your QA plate wasn't built correctly.

Your problem may be that your tractor mounted carrier is not centered on the forks. While there are " standard dimensions " for QA stuff, there are several standards. Your QA is probably just too far right or left for the pins to line up. Some of the " standard " QA stuff was wider in the plate area, but the locking pins are in the right places. My CID forks are made the same way, so the wider plate QA's will work with them. Check the width of the attachment area on your bucket. I bet your fork attachment area width is four inches wider, which would mean the forks are made to work with more " standard " QA's than just your tractor. If you are not centered close enough, you can't lock the pins....

The pins aligned properly to the holes accept the QA plate does not seat flush to the attachment.

My tool carrier would not fit flush on my grapple and it was the bottom plates were hitting the loader arms. I had to cut the plates off and trim about an inch or so off the front, then I put the grapple on and slid plates up tight and clamped and welded bottom of plates to grapple. I marked slots for pins and then removed grapple welded top of plates and cut out pin holes. 4035 also. Hope this helps.

Think of having to do that with all your implements due to non std dimensions of the carrier.
