So the other day at work they replaced a set of pallet forks off a cat fork lift. The one was bent about 1/2 inch down is all that was wrong with them. So i got to bring them home. Im building them tonite and ill post my pictures once im done welding everything up that i can get done tonite.

Well i am almost done them lol i just came in to the house and its 11:15. I need one more chunk of steel to finish the side on me SSQA for them. As for bending them, you dont want to know. We have these machines at work that condition and cook grain and they run on these bearing/wheels called trenion's. Well any way long story short, these bearings and wheels weight about 3500 lbs each and we lifted one with a sling and one fork(yes it was a mistake) to move it into the press to install the new parts. So ya we replaced them(the forks were cheap, compared to the bearing we had to replace.) Im going to the local welders tomorrow for my last chunk of metal and ill finish welding them up and i will post some pictures.

Sorry guys kinda forgot to post pics. Here they are. Not done quite yet but soon. Need to notch top rail and add on more brace and they will be ready for work. Tried them out a bit yesterday and work good.

Nice job! After a short time you'll wonder how you ever lived without them before. I built a set and that all but retired the regular bucket.

Ya they turned out pretty good. Have tested them out by lifting my SXS and nothing bent so thats a good thing. Still havent made my notches yet but soon enough.

A fine looking attachment!

I picked up a set of forks at an auction recently. Now I have to get busy and get the rest of it built so I can hang the forks!

Very nice job. All I could suggest is possibly a guard above the frame to keep items (like bricks) from falling off a pallet and hitting the grill of the tractor.
