I have had the bxpanded forks on my bx for several years. They are really a mixed blessing. They are easy and quick to put on and take off, and the cheapest alternative for my pin-on bucket. However, there are many negatives. They do bend the bucket upper lip. They sit at a strange angle, not parallel to the bucket bottom or the level indicator. Because the bucket is in the way, you can't see the forks for positioning to pick something up. Because they pivot at the top, getting the right angle to pick up a log is really a pain. The ingenious spring clips holding the brackets fell off so often that I have replaced them with rods through the holes on the brackets, drilled for retainer spring clips. This is was necessary despite much advice and even a new set of clips from the nice guy at bxpanded. And, of course, because they are so far out front, it's hard to lift anything heavy. They are better than nothing, but I wish for a quick attach and a real set of forks, or a grapple. I find that I often switch back and forth between forks and plain bucket, so at least the change is easy. By the way, the same comments apply to the bxpanded chain hooks- clips fall off, and they bend the bucket lip.. I do like my Piranha toothbar, and their skidplate has been effective (although I have had to grind off some metal where it was rubbing on the u joint at the forward end of the front drive shaft.
