Check out HLA 36" Forks, there about the lightest you'll be able to find and a good fit for a subcompact that has limited lifting capabilities.

If you are just looking for something simple, the Titan clamp on forks work well:

There have been comments about forks being too long. I wish mine were a little shorter.

Also, I bought Skid Pro because it is made in usa ......... only to find a made in china label on the forks themselves.

If you are handy with a welder, you can fabricate some forks. I made some with 2x4 steel channels.

Since I rarely use pallet forks, I just made some out of PT 2x4s. No, not rugged, but they just slip on and work fine for objects up to about 200 pounds. Cost, about $20....

What I think would be more handy around here are debris forks for brush, wood, timbers, etc. More expensive than pallet forks, with more tines, but look really handy. I think I will go shopping!

I'm in the market for some sort of Forks, I noticed the Debris Forks, they look interesting.
My only heart ache is the shortness of the Forks, does anyone know of a "Clamp-on Debris Forks" that have longer Forks ?

Looking for usable Fork Length somewhere around the 48" mark... not even sure what is a good length ! I'm willing to buy the heavy duty vision or at least the 4000-lbs. Forks.

The main use around my property will be moving brush, smaller trees, maybe some construction lumber, but mostly light weight stuff.
