Stuff comes in handy for various projects. Got some from a surplus store that they cut off of a parachute. Its not 550 cord. It doesn't have any inner cords just hollow sheath. Larger than the 550 cord. Googled it but didn't find anything like it. Any idea what it is and specs of it?

The orange cord is 550 paracord. The green cord is the cord they removed from chute. Its hollow and if you push back cord it opens up like Chinese finger cuffs.
