parking brake light stuck

I have a new TC-33D, 22 hours on it. The parking brake warning light stays on when the brake lock is released. Is this something I can fix (when it gets warmer) or do I need to haul it back to the dealer for a warranty repair. Its so cold here in Northern VA iI havent felt like taking anything apart to see if I can get at the light switch under the platform. Any advice is appreciated.

No advice, but the same thing happened to my TC33D. It had over a hundred hours when it happened. I took it to the dealer and they fixed it along with some other warranty work. I didn't even ask what caused the problem. Just thought I'd let you know there was at least one other TC33 owner who'd had the same problem.

There's a button on a switch that get's depressed when the lock is set. Climb under the tractor (without it running of course) and reach up and push the parking brake lever. You may need to pull down (or push down if someone is doing this for you) on the brake pedal first. You should see the switch getting pushed on. Possibly something has hung up, or the switch needs adjustment. Otherwise, the switch may have frozen internally.

I vote for frozen !! If I recall there's a rubber boot over the switch ( the switch is right under the deck just behind the brake pedals ) that propable got damaged and/or mussed up to allow a bit of moisture in. Maybe grab a hair dryer and warm it up and see if it frees up. You should feel the switch make and break when you push in the pin by hand.

My big problem with my 29 is the lower neutral gets out of wack and won't let me start. I have to be in the upper neutral. I have it adjusted when its in the shop and it works about 2 days. Oh well live with it.
