My father here (Australia) was given a copy of Family Origins Version 4.0. A friend or relative loaded it on his PC to help him start off on the family tree.
Anyway, he has now over the years become so reliant on this piece of software and has amassed a huge amount of data on it.
He can't get an original version of the software from the source for some reason.
It appears to be a US software and we can buy it over the net but assume we'd only get an email version. We want a CD version so we can reload it if we get into trouble.
(My father is in another town so I can't help him much)
The software is now up to Version 10 from what I gather.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has a spare copy lying around they would part with, or if any gurus out there know how to zip and email a copy of it or something.
The end result is we want a copy we can load again if needed.
This sounds like piracy and I suppose it is, but he is getting most concerned and I said I'd try my "Tractor Friends"
Any help would be a appreciated.
Cheers
