That's terrific news, there's plenty of manufactures who will blame everyone and everything for their crap work, I could name a few but from what I've heard in the past Fecon isn't one of them.

Is it really possible that a 1/2 drum made it through the factory instead of a 3/4" or was 1/2" the old specs?
Grace manufacturing did something similar for me as did Cat did something similar for me too after a little back and forth.
I'm glad you are getting it repaired!! Let us know how the new version works.

That's good to know.
Had always heard good things about their product & svc. Shopping heads now & that very well could've influenced a decision.

I'm shopping new heads as well but Fecon has ignored my requests for more information much like FAE does. I've owned 3 mulchers in the last 15 years and two were FAE built. I'm considering switching to Fecon and I'm happy to hear they stand behind their product but the contacts listed on their website don't seem to get to anyone.

Well I have a call into their regional manager for my region to try to get some information. We will see if I fair any better than you guys have.

Curious if they are standing behind their product as a matter of integrity or fear that they wil get some bad publicity.

Well I just got off a very long and detailed phone call with their regional manager for my area. Very prompt in his return of my message that I left on his phone. What we did find was he could not email me at two different email servers and none of my emails to him would get through from those two servers either. Finally used a YAHOO.COM email address and it worked. I got messages that indicated the mail servers were blocking emails as undeliverable. His IT guy got involved as he was trying to send an attachment to me. After I made a joke about maybe someone thinks fecon is bad word the IT guy said that Bullhog might be misconstrued and blocked by some mail servers.
Bottom line if you email them and they have not responded it may not be them. Try the old fashioned telephone. Worked real well for me.
I can tell you the information and questions they answered, pretty much made up my mind on which head I am most likely going with.
