I am having some work done on my MF 135 and I need to know where I can get good parts. I am looking for a wiring harness, guages, and the "O" rings to stop the fuel leaks. I have done some searches here but I must not be putting in the right buzz words b/c its not been successful.

Thanks

I have a 1964 MF-135 diesel that I bought in 2006. I rewired, installed new gauges, thoroughly cleaned and serviced and repainted. YOu can get parts from several places:

Massey Harris & Massey Ferguson Tractor Information - Antique Tractor Headquarters

Classic Ag - Ferguson, Massey Ferguson, Massey Harris Mufflers

Massey Ferguson tractor parts from Restoration Supply Tractor Parts

The gauges are 2" dia and you can get these at auto parts stores.

The absolute BEST place to get parts for a Massey Ferguson 135?An AGCO/MF Dealer!* Massey Ferguson has what they call their HERITAGE parts line for these tractors.* (Anything MF made that's over 10 years old)*
Also, watch EBAY.* Over time, you'll see just about every nut, bolt, and washer on a 135 show up.

Just about every part I've used to restore my 150 came from one of those 2 sources.

Thanks guys-- to be honest I was hoping to hear from you two. I have watched the posts for a while and figured you guys would have good suggestions. (not to the exclusion of others- but you two seem to knowledgable and on here alot). I went to the AGCO website but couldn't look up any parts-- Is there some secret handshake? The nearest dealer is 30 miles one way-- and I drive a gas hog. As easy as the 135 is on fuel it would probably cost me less to drive it to and from picking up parts. If I could only take 3 days to pick them up--LOL

By the way that 150 looks very nice. You can tell you have put a lot work into that.

I would suggest (if you plan on keeping your 135 for any length of time) that you log on to EBAY and find a PARTS MANUAL for your tractor. (Available at MF/AGCO dealer too, but they sell for much less on EBAY) Then you can phone in (or email) a parts list to any MF dealer. They'll usually be willing to UPS your order to your door. Saves time and fuel. Parts manuals are handy when working on the tractor also. The exploded views offer a look at how sub-assemblies are constructed. Valuable when taking something apart or re-assembling.

Thanks (about the 150) I've put a fair amount of time in on it, but it's given me quite a bit of time in return. I've owned it for 37 years next month.

Do you guys recommend any particular cd version of the parts/owners manual. I am looking on ebay and there seems to be some quality issues plaguing some of the sellers. It looks like the manual itself is kind of expensive.

SOME of the CD copies of the manuals are a joke. Honestly, I prefer a hard copy myself.

The Avatar is so "detailed" because I used a good camera and near perfect lighting conditions when the photo was taken.

Bill,

What kind of camera?? I agree on the hard copies, but the only CD versions I would own ( still have not bought them yet.... ) are Big Dean's CD.

It's an Olympus camera, not sure of the model#, but it was their best offering of several.

Big Deans CD is absolutely invaluable (as is Big Dean Austin himself) But a person still needs the owners and parts manuals, and I'd suggest the SERVICE manual too. Knowledge is empowerment. There's no such thing as have too much information.
