New owner with a used GC2610. No dealers in close proximity.

Need a few parts for my GC2610. Does any one have a recommendation for a good online source with good online part schematics where you can order what you need.

There are no online dealers that I know of. Most have to go through a dealer. I use Ron's equipment in ft Collins. Very good dealer with a competent parts department.

Btw I love Steamboat. Been going there for many many years. Have a place up there so I'm there a lot. I may be able to help with part delivery if worst comes to worse.

Jacks small Engine sells Massey part and shipping is reasonable. I look the part up on the Agco sight then just type it in Jacks website. Sometimes the part numbers will be superseded but Jacks has never failed to send me the correct part.

What kinds of prices dud you pay? And did you get your hydro fluid locally . . what kind and how much?

Ditto for Jack's. I've had good luck with them and prices seemed reasonable. (Purchased one set of MMM blades.) Will undoubtedly turn to them for other parts later.

I bought two oil filters, an air filter and a hydraulic filter. ~$100
I plan on buying the Valvoline Unitrac fluid form my local NAPA store - it looks like 5 gallons of VAL813 is $124 + tax

Eg: alternator... Canadian dealer price: $410 CDN Denso Online Price: $109 CDN Jacks: $835 USD ($1100 CDN!!)
Air Filter: NAPA: $52 CDN Jacks $78 USD

This is the opposite of what I normally see.

Wow...I can't believe the alternator costs that much...good thing you found the Denso price...

Amazon has the Wix air filter (49691) for the GC 24xx series for $37.73 USD, I ordered one yesterday (they also had the Baldwin and Hastings equivalent air filters for about $40, but they were out of stock). Also picked up the Wix oil filter (51360) for $6.59 USD. Not a bad option if you are a prime member and get free 2-day shipping (not sure what the Amazon deals/prices are like up in CAN).

I did order some items from Jack's this week as well, including a bunch of stuff for a Shindaiwa string trimer (prices were really good) and an AGCO hydraulic filter ($33.10 USD) for my 2008 GC2410.
