I am rebuilding an old - very old - Mcormick-Deering double roll cultipacker and I need a few parts. Just wondering if anyone knows where I could find some of this type castle nut and thrust washers. The OD is about 3-3/4 in and the bore is 1-3/4. Thrust washers are about 3/16 to 1/4 in. thick. Here are pictures of the cultipacker and the parts I am looking for.
The part numbers on the Nut are IG 28 and the washer IG 49

I have seen lots of those packers come up for sale around here so they must be everywhere. I would try boneyards around there first and if no luck one the ones in the north central US like MN, WI, OH, IN, IL and such. I see ads in Farmworld publication Farm World - The weekly farm newspaper source for ag news, classifieds, auctions and online dealer auction sites. You just have to hunt and peck till you find one. I would attach a photo of the whole piece with initial inquiry and then if they have one follow up with the part photo. They won't know that answer because they aren't going to take it apart for you.
If that fails, make one or have a shop make one. There are lots of little shops that could make one or you could improvise one yourself. I have done it many times with obscure parts. Hope this helps.
