Backhoe parts&repair for MF31

i have a 1971 MF31 backhoe it has a hyd swing motor with spline shaft to turn the boom the shaft is stipped out and the boom doesnt turn anymore i cant find parts for this backhoe and been thinkin of adapting???? a hyd cylinder to move the boom ???? left/right either direction the 236 PERKINS tractor runs great other than that

Try going to AGCO Parts Books and loggin in as QUEST and put in MF31 in the open box and dropdown Massey Ferguson. You might get lucky on a parts number. That would be my first place to look.
