1300 PARTS NEEDED: Tachometer & Seat


Looking for a tach.

Does not have to be same as original, just one that will work. Dealer has expensive new, but would like used in good condition.
Also, does the tach cable need to be replaced...all the tach does now is spin like a propellar.

Also looking for an original seat in good condition.

Its a 1979 FORD 1300.

Anyone have any leads for good used parts? THANKS!

Your tach is mechanically driven thru gears in timing cover and it is not all electronic. That reduces your choices. You need to get dealer's high $$ one or find facsimile off it. I briefly looked at fleabay and did not get anything.

Might check with Messick's on line catalog. just checked,
