Pasquali xb 40 v Grillo 107D

HI Guys

I am looking at buying one of these wonders. On looking around the stockists here in Oz I have been told that the Grillo 107D that is coming in Nov 2014 has a 11HP lombardini engine. I though I read somewhere here that the 107D clutch wouldn't handle that amount of HP. The outgoing model is a 8.5hp Robin petrol. this seems a huge jump in torque to me.

I have looked at BCS/Ferrari/Pasquali and Grillo and the Pasquali XB 40 with a 11hp Petrol Honda and 800mm tiller is the same price as the Grillo 11hp lombardini with a 680mm tiller

I have no experience with 2 wheeled tractors - plenty with 4 wheels. We have 10 acres and initially its for tillage duties on no more than 2 acres. But would like to expand it to shredding/chipping and log splitting in future so whatever I get has to that capability.

pro and cons of both? are they overkill for what we want to do?

Maybe you mean the G110? It's brand new with a bigger clutch and stronger PTO. Built to compete with the 740 with a lower price and simpler clutch.

If you're looking at tillage and stationary equipment only, it's tough to beat the Grillo 131. It falls flat in large scale mowing, though. Mowing down the graden in the fall is one thing, but laying down 5 acres of hay would be agony.


I'm not familiar with Pasquali. They haven't been available in the US for a long time. I did go with my friend pick up a small articulated Pasquali last weekend, though. Looks like a super tough little beast.

After reading all I could on the earthtools website I thought it was perhaps the 110 was well but the shop selling it stated it was the new model 107D for australia. Pasquali is BCS owned I believe.
