My pastures have become pretty well compacted over the years and I have been thinking about getting one of those renovators to loosen the soil up some and broadcast some seed to spruce things up.
I got to thinking that a box blade with the teeth lowered should do a reasonably good job of loosening the soil. I do not have either implement but it sure would be nice just to go with the box blade if it would do the job along with being able to use it for other projects and not having to mess around with a very limited use renovator.
Am I wishful thinking?
