Patio project

Finally decided to post a project of my own. I hate to say this but this project actually started about 5 years ago. I cut down a tree in the area I wanted to have a patio in and then accepted a job where I had to go overseas for training for 9 months. When I returned I proceeded to work 60-70 hours a week and was just too tired to work on the project. Finally I said enough was enough and its time to get serious about it. I acquired a Mahindra 2810 and started doing what I could when I could. Have laid the tile and now need to install a privacy fence to get rid of the eyesore of an abandoned shed of a neighbor adjacent to where I built the patio. Hopefully I will have the privacy fence up within the next 2 months and then install lattice work around the entrance and lighting.

Don't you hate it when paying-the-bills-work gets in the way of the fun-work? :laughing:

I have a couple of projects like that myself that I want to get done this year. Nice job on the patio!!

Thank you for the compliment. Unfortunately I was not born with a silver spoon because if I was I would have sold it a long time ago and moved out to the country and dropped out of the rat race. Thankfully I came into possession of 80 acres of woods and I plan on my better half and myself moving there and enjoy life. There are pines there 30" in diameter and about 60% is hardwoods. Wish it was next year already.
