Pat's Easy Hitch System on Kubota B7800

Anyone out there using Pat's ECS on there B7800. I'm having a problem keeping the hooks aligned on the implement lift pins. When I lift the implement the top side of the Pat's hooks lean inward. Tryed adjusting with the set screws, but just can't get enough. The top side of my lift arms tend to lean in a little bit so that is part of the problem. Just wanted to know if anyone else out there had this problem. Thanks, Doug

Have had them on my 7800 for about a year and 1/2. Never really noticed a problem. The lift bars are rather low when I link up and have not looked at what they do when I lift. Once I am hooked up it is not a problem.

I have Pat's system on my B7510 and they are canted a bit when the attachments are raised. Thats because the lower links swivel where they attach to the pivot pins. (They have to be for flexibility) Doesn't seem to hinder performance. If you adjust the stop pins so the hooks are straight when the attachment is raised, they will be canted when it's down.

I opted for being straight when they're down so I get a nice straight hook when I am attaching to something.

Make sense? Am I full of it "Pat's Easy Change" owners?

bigdad, are you saying Pat's hook on the end of the lift arm is moving with the swivel? If the set screws are tight there shouldn't be any movement. Am I thinking correctly?

No, (sorry if I wasn't clear) On the opposite end of the lift arms......where they pivot on the "tractor end" of the arm.

Okay, I understand now. But wouldn't you think with the weight of the implement on the hook they would tend to level out, unless there isn't enough flex at the pivot. Like I stated before, I tryed to adjust the set screws so they would be straight in the raised position but just couldn't get enough on them. Oh well, just have to use them like that I guess. Still would like to hear from other 7800 owners with the Pat's ECS to get there views. Thanks for the input. Doug

It would interesting to get Pat's angle on your concern. He watches this forum pretty close.......... just a matter of time until he sees it.

I may be wrong, but I was thinking that the 7510, 7610 and 7800 have the same frame etc. Just different HP.

I have Pat's on my B7800. It works great. The set screws need to be set to cant the device outward, then it works fine.
You may need a 20" body top link (Std is 15") to get the correct angle on a back/box blade as the hitch moves the lower link rearward 4".

Also, if you use a kubota weight box, you will need extenders for the lower pins to get them into the hitch as the box overhangs the bumpers. I can send photos if you need. Pat made them for me.

I was doing some more adjusting with those set screws today and got the hook set just about were I wanted it to be. The top screw on the out side and the bottom screw on the inside are in quit far and the other 2 screws are out. Looks good in up position and down. My top link is working out fine with my Woods finish mower and the PTO shaft is long enough also. I just hope the top link works out with my other implements. I have a KK boxblade and If I have a problem with the upper link as you say I will have to go longer also. I don't use a weight box on my 3 point. I sure appreciate the input received on this issue and thanks. Doug
