Just ordered PQA. Supposed to get it Friday. I have several implements, all with significant width variances. The system I bought includes the optional spreader bar. Tractor Mike (asktractormike.com) had a video on the system, and one of the tips was to mark the spreader bar, for each width that you need so you can pre-adjust it, before backing up to the implement.
I too, have a 2538, and look forward to using PQA. My PTO shaft on the implements seem to have plenty of additional length, as does my top 3 pt link. I assume your top link is the same as mine. Some of my implements have adjustable top link hook ups as well.
To me, it's not a big deal to hook up the top link manually, as I usually hook up the PTO before I hook up the top link anyway, for additional head room.
Based on other's experiences here, I think it will be a great system to use. We'll see.
