There are a couple of copies on ebay that are much cheaper. They don't use as slick a connection (they have you insert a pin).

I know at least one member mentioned he is not using his pat's. You might search for recent posts about pat's. Maybe he or someone would sell it.

Wow. The simplicity of these designs and obviously ease of use. Really makes me wonder why tractor manufacturers haven't caught on and made these standard issue (or at least optional).

They did, back in the '60s, Case called it the Eagle Claw, don't know why it didn't last.

That Eagle Claw is neat. I wonder if it had any jamming or maintenance problems?

What category hitch do you have? If you have category 2, I can give you a good price on a new Pat's.

Try these guys....slightly different design but the same concept and great support to make everything work right.

Welcome to CARTER AND SON'S TOOL AND DIE

One thing to note about the Carters, they sit on top of the arms rather than behind.
Positive - keeps the attachments the same distance behind the tractor so lift capability isn't reduced and there shouldn't be any need for longer PTO shafts
Negative - raises the minimum height the attachment pins need to be at to hook up, and raises the minumum height the attachment can be lowered to.

I like the idea and would like to try making a set. I have the steel.
if I do and it works, I'll post about it. If I do and it doesn't work, I'll hide my failure!:D

If you don't mind welding on the lift arm, and having it able to be removed you could 'build' it on top of the arm. and eliminate the channel and main pin
This was you would still have the regular balls to use if need be.
I wonder if they would consider selling just the casting part and then just weld it right to the lift arm?
I would like to have the option to use either,

In watching the video I found this other one. same idea as pats but rar less easy .
