3-Point Hitch Pats quick change on a 2538

I currently have a quick hitch, however some of my implements are too narrow for the quick hitch, and the pins dont reach the mount. So im looking into the pats, which appear that you can move them in and out as needed. Is that the case?

My next question is, which category pats would I purchase, I see a cat 1, 2 and 3. I have a 2538 Cab tractor.

Does your quick hitch come close to the rear fenders? I am looking at a quick hitch for my 2538

I dont take delivery of the 2538 until Monday. I am currently using it on a Massey 1739E, It doesnt come close to the fenders on that tractor

you have a CAT 1 / category 1 3pt hitch

beyond pat's easy hitch. also telescopic lower lift arms.

telescopic, you undo latch/pin, pull arms out and hook up. then you backup tractor to get the arms to latch.

pats been a while, but i do believe they just have a latch/clip. and still need to use a brace or something on lift arms to keep the lower lift arms spread apart before backing up. again been awhile, i want to say there is a clip/latch you can undo, to extend the claw out a 1/2" to a couple inches but do not take my word on it.

pending on pins on the other 3pt hitch equipment if they are bolt /nut style. you might find some longer pins you can put on.

The PATS work like the bottom hooks on a QH, can get the adjusting bar and hitch pins as a kit. They do extend the length of lift arms couple of inches but not a issue unless PTO shafts are cut short.

One of the best tools on my tractors, use them on everything.
