Pat\'s & Quick Hitch compateable?

I tryed looking for my answer but I could not find one.
I do use a LP qiuck hitch on every thing except a 2 bottom plow & post hole digger. Will pats fit into the QH so I can still use it like normal? It sure would save a pain in the back when I need to remove the QH or put it back on.

Re: Pat\'s & Quick Hitch compateable?

I don't quite understand why you would need a Pat's EZchange if you have a quick hitch. They both do about the same thing, make it easier to attach implements to the 3pt. Hitch. Adding a Pat's system is not something you would easily change back and forth if you had to as it is bolted onto th ends of the 3pt., eliminating the socket balls on the arms. If you added them to the QH, it would add about 2 1/2 to 3 inches to the ends as well, possibly making it impossible to hook up some implements to the top link, or PTO shaft. I suggest your QH is all you'd need. That's all Pat's really is. John

I tend to agree with John. I am not sure you could even add a Pat's system to a quickhitch at all, but if you did it wouldn't do any good and it would push weight even farther back. The real question is can Pat's be a practical subsititue for the quick hitch? It will work with a PHD and with non-standard width implements, but you have to manually connect the top link so it is slightly less convenient to use with some of your other implements.

Re: Pat\'s & Quick Hitch compateable?

Thanks guys for the repleys.
The reason behind my question- I do alot of switching between the QH and digger or plow. I had a thought of pats system so I could just slip the QH on and off VERY quickly. I just did not know if they would work together for my purpose. I have over 15 different 3 point attchments so I don't like to spend any more time swicthing around than I have to. My 4400 does not have 4" of straight arm, it bends at the ball end so it wont work any way /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
Thanks Guys
