Paul Harvey\'s Gun Control Test

To day on Paul Harvey's address he spoke about the happenings in New York and the country. He had a lot of good things to say about the United States and its citizens... He finished with this... about gun control laws...

" I have come up with a true test of One's view on gun control laws.. The test is "how would you like this sign to be placed on you front window or front door for all to see....

"THIS HOUSE IS A GUN FREE HOME"

Good one! That is an excellent idea. If you did that, you might as well just put all of your valuables out next to the sign. Except maybe for GlueGuy...I don't think there's anyone out there to read it!

Another thought I'd like to add is one of my favorite quotes from Albert Einstein. He said "I don't know what weapons will be used in WW3, but I DO know what will be used in WW4...sticks and stones".

Paul, as usual, has a good point. I doubt that you'll see many of those signs.

I've posed this question to a few pro-control people and have yet to get an answer: "If I give up my gun, can you guarantee that I will never--ever--need a gun in the future?"

Makes me want to put up a sign that says "These premises are protected by Smith and Wesson".

Good to have PH (and his voice) back again.
