I only paid $3500 for it used. It's built very heavy duty. Empty trailer weighs in at 4870lbs 14k GVWR.
The trailer has paid for itself many times over. I work in commercial construction, we have the laborers put all of the scrap metal in the dump trailer rather than the regular 30 yard trash dumpster. We save on dump fees, keep all of that recycleable steel from going to the landfill and pocket about $600 a month.
