PBY Power Beyond & Detent Valve question

I put a quick disconnect on my YM2002 on one of my auxilairy outlets by taking out the existing plug, drilling and tapping it for 1/8" pipe thread. My fitting was metric. I believe the US sold Yanmars have inch sizes which are more available. I do know flow is not a problem with what I did. What are you wanting on the other end of your adapter? Would this work? I was going to run hoses from the fitting to the valve and one to a quick disconnect.

Well, I was really thinking something like this:

Surplus Center - SAE 8M x 1/2 NPTF 90 SWIVEL

Bsically, here is what I'm concerned most about. The manual calls for a 3/4-16 UNF with O-ring. I know that I also need a 90 elbow. So whatever is on the "other" end of the elbow fitting doesn't really matter to me as long as I can easily connect a hydraulic hose to it.

So, my questions remains: What is the same as a 3/4-16 UNF. Is SAE #8 exactly the same.

If so, will the fitting I posted work? It says it has an O-ring (which I need) but I don't see one. Maybe it's a soft metal one?

The specs says it is 3/4-16 and it says it has an o-ring. I am a believer. Looks to me like it ought to work. I believe all those 3/4-16 fittings are to seal with an o-ring.
