I'm sure there's a reason, but I can't understand why some companies charge for electronic copies of owners manuals. The cost to them is nil, and I would have thought the more copies out there, the better for the company.
In any event, I have a new to me, very old to the world, JD 613 rotary mower. It's my first rotary mower, and I'd like to review the manual. Some of the zerks seem impossible to get to, and I'd like to see how the thing comes apart, etc. I can't find a pdf copy, and JD sells a paper one for $30 plus shipping. I suppose I can probably get one on eBay for a little less, but that brings me to my two questions:
1. Does anyone have an electronic copy they can make available?
2. I am sure this has come up before, but has this site ever considered (or maybe already has one) an online library of owners manuals? If everyone scanned even one of their manuals (simple phone app says my son), it would be an unbelievable resource.
