Pennsylvania list will be getting longer

Well in a week or so I will be joining this merry band of power trac owners. I sent my check in and delivery should be sometime the week of the 10th.

I ordered a 2425 with bunch of toys, er tools, to go with it. I selected the 2425 over the 425 and 1430 not because of use but because of the seat. I have a bad knee and I just couldn't find a comforable seating position on the lower tractors. Just not enough leg room. I have the same problem with cars. The 2425 with its higher setup worked perfectly. So gangly green it is.

I am busy clearing out the garage for the new arrival and already am seeing pt projects pop up before me.

Be sure to post a few pics when you take delivery. Are you getting via private carrier or the Overnite Co?

It was actually a little cheaper by private carrier and a lot less than paying sales tax so as much as I would have liked to visit the factory to pick up this was a no brainer.

I'm up in the Pocono mountains northeast PA. So driveway maintanence and snow plowing will be important roles for the pt.

Welcome and Congratulations.
Your correct, PA has the most PT owners (13) including you. In fact, I think your the first to own a 2425 that is on this forum.

Went back and forth on the grapple/4n1 until I saw a grapple in operation. It was an easy decision then. Similar to fourteens pictures I plan on doing some tree moving with it.

My wife pointed out an amusing connection. We have Irish Wolfhounds who for their first two years are very tall and all legs. Basically gangly grey. So it seems appropiate that our tractor will be gangly green.

If you're going to be working in the woods, you'll be impressed with the grapple. I just posted a topic talking about using mine...

If all the other PT attachments perform their intended use this well, I'll be VERY pleased....

Welcome and congrats on the PT decision! I only wish I had picked up a grapple when I got mine 2 years ago!! May be in my not too distant future though since I plan to thin out some woods around the property in another year or 2. Don't take out too many trees since the colors should be getting real nice in another few days!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
