As I mentioned in a previous thread, we just purchased a ranch in central Texas that came with a JD 4240. Several posters asked that I provide a pic. As a Noob, I've limited my time in the seat until a friend familiar with this tractor can give me a few pointers. Here is the pic.

Your tractor has the long rear axles similar to my 4255 and I have to be extra careful going through gate/door openings. BTW you have a nice looking 4240. I too own a few longhorn/Corrienta cows but they get bred to an Angus bull.
