People Asking to Buy "OLD" YM147D

I have a YM147D with a belly mower, finish mower, and snow blade a few people want. It also has both Ag and Turf tires. I told the folks that there is more in it than it's worth. It's also the only mower set up for mowing grass. The YM276D is more of a utility tractor. It sounds as though the people are trying to get it for a song, "old tractors are only worth about 25% of their value, and attachments have no value." What is a good used tractor to recommend to someone? I have no reason to get rid of the "old" used up YM147D.

I'd just tell em to pound sand.... tractors are pricey and implements are too....
As far as a tractor to reccommend, there are hundreds of 'good' models out there and the best model in bad condition would be a bad choice.... all I could reccomend to someone is to become educated on tractors in general and research any prospective model they find

That said, your old junky rust bucket of a tractor is prolly only worth a couple hundred bucks but I'll give ya a grand just because I'm a nice guy.... bawhahahaha

Tell them they are RIGHT. Then offer the entire setup for $16K. If they balk, say, ops, I forgot the 25% value. They can pay $4K and only pick one attachment as being free.

Worth 25% of value makes no sense. If that was true the value would be 1/4 of what it was worth. Maybe someone messed that up and means there only worth 25% of a comparable new tractor. Haha
