Perfect Cross between Kioti 45 and BX 2200

I believe I have sold farm much to my regret. If buyers back out it may be best day of my life. I have a hst kioti 45 and bx 2200, both of them great machines. If you were looking replacement for both what would you get ? Bx is tough and will do 90% of what I need but loader lift is weak and height is not much. Must have a belly mower. I looked at BX 25D spec hard but not much different than BX 2200. It must he a HST.

Hmm, I'd probably look at a B2650 if you need a little stronger loader and more ground clearance.

Or kubota L-series. I think you can get a MMM on the grandL line, but not sure. IF it wasnt for that, I'd say an L3200/L3800 would be a nice fit.

I second what S219 said, a kubota 2650 is a nice unit, a friend of mine just bought one, he really likes it and those do not have the tier 4 junk on them either.

I 3rd (or 4th or whatever) the B-Series. My uncle has one and loves it, though he doesn't mow with it.

My mistake. I thought they had MMM option.

I know deere 3x20 series does. Or at least did. Which is comparable to the Grand L 3x40 series

The Grand L's did have the mid mount mower option at one time.
Not sure when or why that changed.

I'll agree, its a bit large for a mower. But like everything, when trying to consolidate two pieces of equipment into 1, there will be compromises.

So you can either have a heavy lawnmower that has the loader capacity you need. Or a lighter (better) mower that may lack a bit in the lifting department

Take a look at LS tractors J or the new XJ series. I have a J2023 for my 6 acres and I've yet to find a job it won't do. They offer a mid mower as well. 3 year bumper to bumper and 5 year power train warranty.

Kioti and LS are easily the top 2 Korean brands in the US. You'll find the LS to be similar to Kioti.

If they dropped the MMM option on the Grand L i would have to have been with the L60 as my neighbor has a MMM on his L3540, they weren't an option on the bigger GL.

Even if available, a B2650 or 3350 might be a better compromise between the two owned by the OP.

You said BX would do 90% of what you would need to do, I would consider going that route (or stepping up to a B) since you know it will is well suited for most situations. When you need a little extra lift I would ask a neighbour for a hand.. Always nice to have the bigger but it may become too big for mowing, small chores, etc. I have a Bx25D, love it, when it's too small for the chore, I ask friends for a hand, in return they ask me to help with backhoe at times as well... Works all around and good excuse for a beer with a friend!

I had really liked the B series and nearly went that route... But happy with my decision, esp the backhoe option...
