perfecta, Unverferth Mfg....field cultivator

Has anyone ever heard of a Perfecta II field cultivator made by Unverferth? My dealer is trying to sell me one but I would like to talk to someone other than a dealer on its merits....
I am wanting to use it to upturn the existing pasture soil and prepare it for grass seeding....and if it works then use it on the lawn, too!

Can anyone help?

Is this something suitable for a compact tractor? It was unclear from the web-site. I've seen Unverferth at the last couple ag shows I've been to, they make very large tillage equipment and seem to be reputable /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

We are way out of the CUT league here with this statement but, Unverferth makes the best grain drill in the business. JD sells them. Actually, they have the JD badge but they say "Unverferth" on the hopper too.

If I am not mistaken Kill Brothers (Kilbros) of transfer wagon fame bought out Unverferth a couple of years ago or it may be the other way around. Kill Brothers and Unverferth are both located in central Ohio right of U.S. 30, near Delphos.

I didn't know that Unverferth made smaller implements. If the quality of their small implements is as good as their large ones, you have no need for worry. It will be first rate and will perform it's intended task with no problems.

Yes, it appears to be suitable for a CUT. I have an older 32hp tractor and he said a 6 ft unit would work perfect with my old 2 wd tractor. So Im sure a Compact w/ 4wd could easily pull it....

I'd not hesitate to buy it. I am sure you will be quite satisfied.

I've used Unverferth no till drills, field cultivators and we have a number of Kill Brothers grain carts. All are built to last.
