Personnel Lift

I have seen all the personnel lift projects and discussion. Very interesting and useful. For a guy with no welder and short on time, I wonder does someone manufacture these for retail sales? I have a 160 Koyker Loader on a YM2500.

I would like to have a plat form to attach to my loader for lifting someone to trim trees, hedges and what ever else I need to get up high. Have seen the home made versions, but wonder if someone made one for retail. I had thought about a carryall and receiver hitch, but was told that may not be real safe. Do you use yours this way? If so, how did you make the railing. I certainly want a railing, but would be nice to remove railing for other uses.

Thought I should clarify what is meant by carry all. The attached photo is what I had thought about. Attach a receiver hitch to my bucket and use a unit like in the photo as the plat form. Only modification needed is a taller railing. What does everyone think? The way I see it, if it'll hold the 4 wheeler it will surely hold me, my wife, or my son.

Here is another picture with a taller railing. Just discovered they actually manufacture such a thing. Why won't this work?

They do in deed make such lifts.
Most are fork mounted. Here is an example:

I have not used them but I do have a set of AMH mighty max forks that work great. It seems that you could just slip the platform on and go very easily. Lots of construction companies use these on telehanders.

Key issue is a good driver you can trust!
