Cliff,

Is that hitch on the front for a plow of some kind or even a blade?

I have no idea, but I think it would be mighty useful to be able to put forks, ballast box, backhoe etc. on the front or the back.

Here's a perspective question for you, Cliff. If you were to walk up to those two sitting there, which would you want to look at first and sit in the seat? Tractor or car? Which would be the most fun to drive?

Thanks...cool pictures. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Not to steal the thread but here is a perspective of tractors.

I think that the Tractor would be real fun to drive in rush hour traffic! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'd jump in the Lotus Seven any day. Tractors are satisfying and a kick to operate, but if you're operating safely and productively, there shouldn't be too much adrenaline. In the Lotus, you could keep it coming in a stream!
At the end of the day (hour?) though, I'd want to own the tractor, not the car.
I vote for both!

Although I would ogle over the tractor, I would be in the seat of the Lotus in a heartbeat /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif and my heart would get a good workout along with the suspension until I was reigned in by the owner /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif.

Jim,

It has been a while since I have been around the classic sports cars, is that a Super Seven? I can’t remember the differences. Boy I like the lines and simplicity combined with the near legendary handling performance and hum of the little engine. I have never had the opportunity to drive one but have seen many historic races.

Cool to drive yes, rush hour no. I drive a 100hp farm tractor with a beach groomer about 2miles down a one way street that is bumper to bumper at 9:00 at night. No fun. Between clutching, being cut off, and people everywhere I am scared to run over someone or something.

It's really cool coming back though. No traffic, high gear doing >25 done the road.

Over in Europe they tend to make the tractor a middle part of the implement, for example when plowing dirt, they have a few bottoms up front, and a few bottoms in back. And so on. A front hitch is very common over there. Perhaps the small roads, small fields make it much more manoverable for their needs.

Car would seem boring, too small. I'll go for the tractor.
