Have a water leak under kitchen sink. Not the normal simple thing. Its under the cabinet floor,. With some difficulty I got it torn out. Temp plan is to wrap the pipe in tape & use a small clamp to hold it in place until I figure out a permanent repair.
I know nothing about Pex,
Any suggestions or ideas appreciated.

Thank You.

If it's been chewed why not just cut the bad section out and put in a new using couplers?..........Mike

I plan on putting in a coupling, closest Ace does not have anything, Next Ace 25 miles away.
Maybe Home Depot O Lowe's have parts. Close's are another 10 miles or so. Hate t drive that far & come up with nothing.

Shark Bites???

Thanks guys.

Like Billrog said, shark bite fittings. I used them for my Pex water lines. I cut waterline to move from around another object to reroute and just bought a shark bite fitting to reconnect. You can get them at Lowe's.

You didn't say what size pex but I have made repairs using vacuum or heater hose and one or 2 hose clamps.
Slit the hose lengthwise and wrap around the leak.....secure with clamps. As long as the interior diameter of the hose is slightly smaller than the O.D. of the pex it seals tight.
I usually keep stuff like that around to avoid making un scheduled trips to town.
