Posthole Digger PHD requires own PTO shaft?

I had thought the PTO shaft for my mower would also work on the PHD. They dont seem to mate, is this the norm.?? I just bought a Lienbach 7300 the mower is a 6' KK..

They certainly could be different. It is very unlikely that the length would be correct anyway...

They cetainly may not "mate". Take a look at the splines and count them.

Well I finally slowed down long enough to look into this matter.. Judging by the picture on the net it seems the shaft comes with it




Will have to contact them tomorrow, little can go smoothly when you are in a hurry...

All my pto shafts basically have the same configuration as far as mate to the tractor and implement. I have a separate PTO shaft for each attachment I have. That said the PHD is by far has the longest PTO shaft out of my group which includes; tiller, rotary mower, finish mower, and PHD. All category #1 PTO shafts should fit your tractor, so I assume the mowers shaft does not fit the PHD. There is no way that my finish mower PTO shaft will work with my PHD, as It is just not long enough,

A heads up to let everyone know about the fantastic customer service from
everythingattachments.com. When I awoke this afternoon (working nights) there was already a message on my cell phone saying another PTO shaft had already been sent out, no questions asked!

He went on to say UPS must have lost it (imagine that ) and I should be receiving it in a few days... I honestly did not think customer service like that even exisited now days..
