Seems I am having more and more problems with Photobucket locking up and not allowing me to grab the IMG code to insert photos in forum posts. I have to close down and start over. Seems it has no problems showing me the advertisement for a photo album.

What other options are there for storing and posting photos?

Posting them straight into tractorbynet?? Wondering if there's a reason for not doing that?

My site at Smugmug It's a family owned business and I pay a fee every year for the hosting. Use FJgtpDaVSfq8A and that will get you 10$ off.
I feel you get what you pay for in photo sites.

I use Google Photos. My Android phone automatically backs them up to Google when my WIFI is turned on and they are there for ever. And it's all FREE

Most ISP's give their users some personal web space...it's simple to upload images and just link to them...
Another option is a hosted server...they can be had for as little as $4-$5/month...some have photo gallery apps already installed...no need to even have a domain name...just address it via the IP address...

Photobucket has required more memory lately and I nearly gave up on it but I got a new computer and it handles it better. It is still not as good as it was a year ago.
I also used Image Shack but they tried to make me upgrade and threatened that I would lose all my photos if I didn't. They thought they had me over a barrel but I deleted all the photos myself and let them have their site back. I had backups on portable drives of all my pics. I won't be held to ransom by money hungry sods.
There are quite a few photo hosting sites but they take some finding sometimes.

If you're using a desktop / laptop I just use the TBN manage attachments to add photos to my posts. I do have to resize the pics to a smaller size before I can upload on TBN but it has always worked for me.

Take a look at flicker.com 1 TB of free photo storage. Easy to upload, share, organize, etc. Been using it for several years now after dropping photobucket. You may need to sign up for a yahoo email account when you join but that's about it.

Thanks for the replies. I realize the upload straight to TBN possibility, did that some, but hate to resize. I will look at some of these other options.

You could just store them on any cloud system. At the extension office, they started us on Dropbox, just Dropbox.com to install it. You can easily share it with others if you want by just using their Share "app" (that's the latest thing to call things like this).

Think there's something called icloud, too. A buddy of mine has his e-mail through them. Bet they also have a could storage.
