If I'm remembering correctly from another post, you have an Olympus C-740. I have an older version of your camera, the C-700. The only problem I have with blurry pictures is with high Zoom, and with camera motion during lower light level situations. I bought a monopod that has worked well for me. Also, I use Camedia Software v2.5 that has a nice option called "Instant Fix". Open a photo and choose Image/InstantFix and it does a really nice job on the photos.
I don't know if you've had a digital camera before, but put some thought into your file system that stores your photos. Otherwise, they'll get lost after a short while. Another hint is to never modify your original photo and save the revisions under the same name. Keep your original data intact, and use "SaveAs" with a suffix after the original file name to keep your revisions separate but adjacent to the original files.
