Bobcat CT235
I took delivery Friday as a Demo. Still waiting for the Backhoe which is the new reinforced unit. The loader is the older model but there is only 60-80 lbs lift difference whcih may or may not all be calculated solely by counter weight. The RFM is the Bobcat 72" and does a fine job. The unit is heavy and my lawn is wet, wet, wet and as resistance is futile I quickly learned the R4's can be forgiving if you are careful.

I took the loader off today. Very easy and will try and take a few photos tomorrow.

Lockport, That is the new Bobcat bulit loader you have. Look at the tilt cylinder connection brase on you rloader as compared to mine. Mine is the earlier version "Rhino built".
the other indicator is how the cylinders are built. Yours has inertia welded rod ends, ther is no weld around the end of the rod to the rod eye. A special process that Bobcat designed years ago and patented is they push the rod against the rod end at X force and spin the rod. This casues the 2 pieces to meld together with no weld joint.

I was just going to comment too to tell you have definitely have the new loader. What size bucket do you have?

I was looking to get a bigger bucket for my Kioti CK30hst fel. (similar to the CT230). The ones I have looked at have the shape as Lockport's fel. My original bucket has the rounded back side which is supposed to make material dump out easier. Has anyone had a problem with material sticking in their buckets like Lockport's?

I didn't mean to stray in this the post. Just a question when I saw his bucket.

Lockport: Congratulations on the new toy. I hope you have many fun and safe hours.

Really? Both you and SSdoxie's (and the Dealer!) comment of the loader seem to contradict the serial number. According to the serial number reference in the manual it is the older version. :ashamed: I am not at home now and cannot look further but have yet to hear from the dealer. I know that my BH is coming straight from the factory.

Thanks

EDIT: Granted, I can certainly see the difference in that cross member. The mystery begins.

don't trust the manuals, when I has my CT225 the tire sizes in it were mis printed.

Also the manuals have different service intervals than what is on the tractor and different from the dealers recco also. Go figure.
