Man this thing is a darned mowing machine for sure! Picked myself up a Hustler Sport with a 42" deck. Paid extra for the upgraded engine and got the Honda. I really wanted toe 48" deck but it was just at the ragged edge of my budget and I just wasnt comfortable at that price point.

I have not a single regret taking a 42" with a Honda over the 48" with the Briggs. That said I work the uniut, it isnt cutting a fresh and pretty lawn.

The Honda doesnt even break a sweat mowing, the cut quality goes all to trash before the motor starts struggling.

What was the price tag on that unit? Do you have any hills to contend with? That must be a new model as I don't remember them last year. I prefer the 42" as you only have two blades and get a higher tip speed as a result. Nice!!

It was $3500 out the door with the upgraded engine and an hour meter. Really happy with that price. It would have been about 400 or 450 more for the 48" deck.
I do have some hills, in fact some pretty steep ones although small. Havent had any issues or concerns, it crawls right around.
