It'll be interesting to see how it works, particularly how you deal with the roots of these most pernicious of Texas brush species. Since you didn't mention mesquite I assume this is not a problem?

Our place is about 50 miles south of San Antonio so yes Mesquite is thick and a problem. I rented a dozer a couple years ago to clear fence lines and have been maintaining that by spraying and keeping shredded/disced. Planted some Bahia last year and well the drought this year has killed that off.
