Bought a Gannon FD100 off CL the other day, it's a stout piece, might be a bit much for my Kubota but we'll see how it does soon. I didn't feel like taking the BH off to test it yet, I'm not going to sell my standard box blade just yet in case it too much for my equipment.

I have a 60" X 625 pound Bush Hog (brand) ROBB, which I pull behind my heavy L3560. Loaded with soft Florida sandy-loam, it is all my L3560 can pull.

Good luck, with the Gannon, which looks to be in good shape. The Gannon is much heavier built than my Bush Hog ROBB.

How did you load and transport the Gannon home?

Nice find. I missed out on a nice Gill 6' roll over yesterday. Came up on Craigslist and I missed it. Guy was driving in Saturday to get it.

I have a Bush Hog RO720. It can become a real load when totally full of dirt. Its never stopped my M6040, but it can make it work. Having a hydraulic top link is my answer to not overloading the unit. Its an excellent implement for leveling when a considerable amount of dirt must be moved - whether on a trail, road or in a field.

The hyd top link can make it dig like a miner and then level out and transport what's in the blade. If you control the amount of material it digs - this implement should work well for you.

I also have hyd top and tilt which does make using a BB much easier. The main motivation for the roll over BB is so I can use the rippers independently. If this doesn't work well with my tractor I might sell both this one and my std. BB and make a heavy duty one with hyd rippers.

I am jealous - nice find. Seems people around here let stuff they never use rust away in the back field rather than put it on CL. Or if they do put it on it is total junk and they think it is worth a million dollars. That's life I guess.

I finally had a chance to use the ROBB, works really well, although I need to make a few repairs/modifications to get it where I really want it.

Being able to use the rippers independent of the box is nice, my tractor is on the small side and I have the turf tires on it but still did well, even ripping hard clay and old roadbed. It's on a hill so ripping downhill helped a lot.

I'd love to have that! Never seem to have cool stuff like that popping in my local CL :(
