Picked this up for my CS2410 tonight. Guy said it works, but has a "bearing rattle". The skirts are pretty beat up, but otherwise its really solid considering what I paid ($100).

I got it home, and tried to hook it up to my 2410. I found that the width of the 3point hitch is nearly as wide as the 2410 can spread so it was very hard to hook up. When I did finally hook it up, the tractor will only lift the mower up about 6". Any adjustment I can do to this to lift it higher?

Also, the PTO shaft is too small for the tractor. I'm going to try to get the guys at work tomorrow to swap me a new one on the current shaft and then fire it up to see how it does.

I'm going to straighten out a few brackets, change the diff oil, sharpen the blades, and possibly replace the wheel on the back. I should be all in for less than $250 on this unit.

Its also great that I sell Woods equipment at work, so we have all the parts already!

Looking at the picture, you would need to lower where the lower lift pins are mounted on the mower. You would probably also need to lower the top lifting point as your top link could possibly hit your tractor if you didn't lower the attachment point. This would allow you to lift the mower up more than 6 inches off the ground but you would need to be aware of the pto driveline angles so they don't get into a bind if you lift the mower up with the pto on.

In regards to barely being able to connect your 3pt arms, you could try pointing the lower lift pins inwards toward the center of the mower instead of outward like they are. I don't know if this is possible with this mower or not but it's a very common issue with the sub-compacts.

Yea, you need to convert the mower to your tractor's hitch size.

Update, got the yoke fixed. 30 min and $57 later, the shaft fits. Didn't mess with the mower adjustment yet, thats later. Still need to power wash as well. Added a quart of 90w gear oil, probably could use more.

Cut well, although a little low (I'll need to adjust for that). Has a pretty bad bearing rattle, so I'll have to investigate that.

name tag plate on rotatory cutter in above picture, it is directly behind the rear tire. "silver in color" looks like some chain up on the front of the rotatory cutter about to cover up the name plate.
should have manufacture and model number on it.

rear wheel looks good, suppose to be ugly like that. just find your greease spots for the rear wheel.

most likely need to adjust the "slip clutch" under the large cover, between, were the PTO shaft and gearbox connect.
Tractor Attachments And Skid Steer Attachments For Any Tractor Or Skid Steer has video and text, that describs things better in how to adjust the slip clutch on rotatory cutters.

if PTO shaft came with rotatory cutter, just fixing the yoke ends doesn't mean it is correct length... take your measurements, and pull PTO shaft apart (in half) and double check lengths, to make sure peices are not to long, or to short with not enough overlap.
