After reading hours of information on the web, most of it on this site, I decided to purchase a Kubota 2350. Thanks everyone for your input and all of the knowledge you bring to the site. I know myself it takes time to check these forums and participate in them.

I have to go now, I have only just unloaded it and I am anxious to put it to work... I'll post again later. (with pics too!)

Congratulations on your new ride. If you fertilize in the spring your grass will grow faster.:D

Thanks rpoage. Believe me, I will be fertilizing soon. The grass has just started greening up in the last week or so, I can't wait to try out the 60" MMM.
I have used it for about an hour now and love it so far. The only reason I came in is because it started raining!! It seems to have plenty of power and hyd. capability. Here are a few pics. The second one is underneath the step. Is this the updated version with the added bracket?? I forgot to ask my dealer about it. It is an '08 model so I assumed it would be updated. Also, what do I need to look for to see if I have the updated seat??

Those are the brackets and the upgraded seat. You're covered.

Sweet ride! I'm sure you will have a great time with it.

Any particular reason you went with the Woods FEL? Just curious. It looks like a very nice unit. Woods always does such a nice job with their equipment.

As far as other 'improvements', there is a lever kit to replace the ones that pop off too easy, a tach kit because the original got cloudy and stopped being visible, and some had mal-fitting battery covers. I'd be a little surprised if your machine did not have all previous improvements as they have been deployed for a solid 6 months now, if not more.

Thats good to know about my seat and steps! So far the guages are easy to read, and the battery cover (I'm assuming you are talking about the screen that clips in place and is secured with a nut) fits well.

My dealer carries all Woods accessories, and they outfit all of their BX tractors with Woods LS72 loaders. He claimed they are of the same quality, although they do not have the neat-fitting tucked-away hyd. hoses that the Kubota loader has. My dealer also explained that the Woods FEL carries a two-year warranty while the Kubota has a one-year warranty, which is another reason they sell Woods. I didn't ask about price though, I would assume that the Woods is cheaper and they are saving some money there. I have looked the loader over very thoroughly and it looks like a well-engineered unit.

I got the entire package-BX2350, 60" Kubota MMM, Woods LS72 loader w/bucket, Woods Heritage 48" box blade- for $13,200+tax at 0% for 42 months. I am very happy with the deal I got, and the dealer is great (they have been in business in the same location for 30 years). Not to mention they are only about 10 miles from my house!

Great looking rig! Also sounds like you got a good deal! May you have many hours of great seat time this summer. They are a blast and a useful tool!:p

I guess I should shop around at other dealers because today I priced a BX2350 with 60" deck and the price was $11250, you got a loader and box blade in the deal for less than $2000 more. The dealer I spoke with wanted $2000 just to add a loader.

The original quote from my nearby dealer for the entire combo was $14,900. I called another dealer (which was nearly an hour away) and got a quote from them and they said $13,200. So I called my nearby dealer and asked them to match it. He said he would have to call back, and he did in about 10 minutes. He said they would be glad to match it. I told him I would be right there!! I might have been able to get them down a little more, but I felt it was a fair deal and I was more than happy with what I got.

So far my only complaints about the tractor is the sudden stop when letting off reverse in high range. Low range doesnt seem too bad. Upon further inspection, I found the radiator/battery screen to not fit perfect, but it is really close and I would have never noticed if I hadn't put my nose right down there on it!!

I plan on using it more next week. We just got about 1.5" of rain yesterday, so I am shut down for a few days!
