Picked up the GC2300 today.....

Just picked up my brand new GC2310 today. Had limited day light when I got it home but, I felt like a kid in a sand box. I wasted no time getting it all muddy. It's been a long 3 weeks awaiting shipment.

I was still sort questioning myself on weather this was going to be a big enough tractor for my 6 acres. My doubts are gone after my 2 hours of play and trying the front loader and backhoe to get a feel for its capabilities. I'm actually very impressed on how capable this thing is. With more practice I think I'll be able to do even more. Plenty of power from what I've done so far and it didn't lag a bit. I dug up a 4 inch stump, pulled out a big rock that was buried beneath the stump and filled in the hole along with some other front loader dirt and gravel test tasks. I crossed a stream path created by a surface spring on my property and sunk in the mud about 10 inches. Four wheel drive and dif lock pulled me straight out (Now I have a new project fixing my rut mess I made).

Fun, fun, fun. I'll take some pictures when I get a chance.

~~~Here's how I fixed the ruts the dollar general semi made in my front yard.
Took the 2003 BX1500 with a front blade and rear tiller & Tilled the area then back drug it with the blade.
Tilled the dry dirt in my dry dirt storage bay.

Hauled the fine tilled dirt with the FEL on my 2004 BX23 TLB and spread it out over the area.

Took the 2005 BX1500 with a 3 point hitch drag and drug it all over the area to level and smooth it all out.

All done.
