It's a B2630HSD, LA403 Ldr, turf tires, w/ folding ROPS and I couldn't have done it without TBN!
Turf tires: Yes, the rears bulge in the middle; not flat like the turfs on my old B7500, but because of TBN I knew what to expect and ordered the 1 1/2" spacers. Plenty of room and a wider stance.
L2800 seat: Already knew the seat was not to my liking and followed a post here that led to the L2800 seat. Big improvement over the original seat.
Loader hooks: Three with steel gussets under the top rail of the loader. TBNers said no hooks without support.
2630 vs. 3030: After following every post on this and other sites, came to the following conclusion: The B3030, with more PTO horsepower is the machine for high PTO loads; 72" finish or MMM on wet or high grass, 60" or 72" brush hog in clearing land, etc. My primary use is lifting, both front and 3 point, and pulling, so the 2630(with the same lifting capacities as the 3030) worked just fine for me. I plan to keep all the 48" attachments (BB, tiller, brush hog, rear pallet forks) from my B7500.
Prices: From TBN I knew what to ask for my 2001 B7500 and I knew what offer and ask for on the B2630. My price: With Kubota rebates and discounts, $15K out the door AND with a 50 hour service. Thanks everyone. Now I get to go change my profile.

Congratulations. As I just took delivery of a B2630 yesterday I can really relate. Spead a load of RCA and filled a 20 yarder with a load of junk.

I too figured the extra HP of the 3030 would not be missed in my applications. I do wonder about the price you quote, does this include the loader also?

Hope you have good luck, and enjoy.

The price did include the FEL but I forgot I had to pay $203 for the spacers so add that in.

Sounds like you have a great setup to enjoy ...er... work with. :) What are "1.5" spacers" that you are referring to? And what is different about the seat you ordered? How much is the seat?

With turf tires the spacers are needed to increase the space between the inside sidewall of the tire and the fender. Here's a picture from a thread on this forum:

http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...urf-tire-640386-b2630_rear_turf_clearance.jpg

Without the spacers the tires tend to rub when under load especially in reverse and there is also no room to mount tire chains.

The B2630/3030 seat has a rounded shape between the seat and the backrest that I found uncomfortable. Even the seat on my old B7500 was better. My dealer swapped it for the L2800 seat, no charge. He said he had numerous complaints about the seat and Kubota knew about the problem. The best seat they have is off a F series mower but hey wanted $370 for that one.

I think I am jealous of your price then, you beat me by around $1500. Are the turf tire less than R4? That is one difference I see in the set up. I also got two rear remotes and a skidsteer QA mount on the FEL, these don't account for the difference as I am allowing for that. I do see you are in Texas and I guess it could be regional.

I am not jealous of your tractor ( only cause I have one too). Only

have 4-5 hours on it but so far I seem to like power to weight ratio. Good luck with yours.

I see the issue with the seat, still trying to decide if I can live with it or need to change it.

I think your gonna like that machine!!....:) I know I adore this little "putt putt" that I have. I swear though I read in the owners manual to NOT spred the tires apart..?? But I'll have to go back and look??

Some friends brow beat me into going for the extra HP ( B3030) but Im POSITIVE, NOW for the stuff im using it for I really dont need it...lol

I got mine last day of sept of '05...with the FEL and a ballast box and R4's on it for $16,150 plus tax..so I didnt get hurt at all...:) and its already saved me about 200 gallons of SWEAT....lol

Good luck and enjoy!

That could be...?? But I just dont work mine all that hard. 99% of the time dont even run at "PTO" rpm...no need to in moving piles of soft topsoil and mulch. I only really crank it up when Im traveling on the road going to my farmer friends place....THATS when I wish I could get about 20 MPH out of it....lol
